This chair is a good product that is well made. It does take about 45 minutes to put together. I found that by separating the bolts by length it went faster. Follow the instructions and do not overtighten when you put in the bolts. If you use a drill and bit ajust the clutch so as to not over-tighten. I bought two gliders and one of them was missing the top board in it’s box. I called the 800 # and they shipped it quickly. Good follow-up customer service. I recommend this product. It works well and depending on your natural cushion absortion you might want to add a cushion for long term use.

We bought two of these chairs several years ago before we remodeled our patio. We liked these chairs so much that after we finished with the new patio, we purchased two more chairs so friends and family can join us on the patio as we enjoy the cool evening breezes and look out over the meadow behind our house. We truly enjoy the relaxing sway to the chairs.

A word of caution. Assembly requires a great deal of patience as the chairs require a large number of nuts, bolts, and screws to assemble. Be patient and follow the instructions carefully.

The chairs arrived ahead of schedule. We are not very ‘handy’ but had no trouble at all putting the chairs together. Very high quality. Sliders work great! The only downside is the wooden slats are a little hard so for extended sitting, cushions are helpful.

These chairs are the ones we bee-line for when we go outside. They are comfortable and the gliding is relaxing. The tray on the side remains stationary when you glide and is just the right size for a beverage and a book. I agree with the poster who suggested that a chair pad would be good for prolonged sitting. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because there is more than “some” assembly required. It took ~1 hr. per chair because complete assembly is required. The directions are good and fairly easy to follow but it is also easy to go wrong. At the beginning of the directions it states clearly – Do not tighten screws and bolts until assembly is complete. This is important advice – don’t ignore it.
