I ordered this stool for my workshop which has a rather tall workbench (approx 41″ off the floor) and my old stool had quit staying up. The price wasn’t too bad compared to the local office store even with the high shipping charges. However, it turns out this is not a stool. It is a regular office chair (read short chair) and the addition of an extension pipe and chrome foot ring to bring it up to stool height. However, these parts do not bolt together they simple stack on top of each other resulting in a rather wobbly “raised chair”. Overall I was rather disappointed in the seller “Obiwan” something but the I am still using the chair ($150 total, can’t just toss it) and I guess you get somewhat used to it over time.
