The stools are very sturdy and comfortable. They are well built. They were cheap too compared to other saddle seat stools I saw elsewhere for $50 each! I think the materials come from China and then they are assembled in the USA with an air nail gun. Those nail holes and shiny nails are visible, so I filled the holes with wood putty.
